WHO IS RESPONSIBLE
Eat Slow Quest is a free hobby project by Patryk Mazurkiewicz, who is the controller of your personal data under the GDPR. Contact: pmaz133@gmail.com.
THE GAME
Your hero, level, gear and meal log are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are never sent to me or anyone else. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no ads.
To delete this data, use Start over in My Meals, or clear this site's data in your browser settings. Save codes you copy contain the same data and stay wherever you paste them.
THE FEEDBACK FORM
If you send feedback, the form collects your email address, your rating (optional) and your message.
- Why: to read your feedback and reply to you. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by sending the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing me.
- Where it goes: the form is delivered by FormSubmit, a form-forwarding service, which emails it to my Gmail inbox (Google). Both services may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.
- How long: I keep messages only as long as needed to handle your feedback, and delete them sooner if you ask.
- I never sell your data, add you to a mailing list, or use it for anything else.
HOSTING
eatslowquest.com is hosted by VH, a Polish hosting provider. Like any web server, it keeps standard access logs: your IP address, the page you opened, the time, and your browser's name. These are used only to keep the site secure and working (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), are processed by the hosting provider on my behalf, and are kept for a limited time.
An older copy of the site at patrykm10.github.io is hosted on GitHub Pages, which logs visitors in the same way. See GitHub's privacy statement.
Fonts are served from this site itself, so your browser does not contact Google Fonts or other third parties while you play. The research link on the home page opens the publisher's own site.
YOUR RIGHTS
You can ask me to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, or for a copy of it. Email pmaz133@gmail.com and I'll reply within one month.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
